A person goes through a lot in a decade. These songs summarize my last 10 years. I am not the same person I was 10 yrs. ago, but I am still me. None of us are the same person we were a decade ago, not even day to day, new things happen and we can never go back to the time before them once they've already been experienced... but we will always remain ourselves, even though we do not remain the same. We cannot stop this changing, we cannot stop this evolution. We cannot remain the same person. Even the person we will be by the end of this album, will be different than who we were before it started playing. New sounds, new ideas, new scenery, and surroundings will now have been introduced that were not there before. That's how special evolution is, not just mine, but all evolution... the ability to change is a gift, embrace it. Because, truthfully, it will happen to us all whether we want it to or not. We are all evolving. This album is my way of honoring the person I was, how much I have grown and changed, as well as tracking my own personal evolution.
