Wicked Crush from Modern Kin by Modern Kin

It's a love song. A creepy, brash, crash of a love song with a guitar and bass melody that sounds like a monster tip-tip-toeing up behind you in a loony-tunes cartoon. No? Something about music being simple to the point of dumb has consistently helped us tell it more true. The song took an exotic turn when Sam Coomes brought in the melotron string arrangements. The ensuing instrumental outro made us adventurous, and was really a milestone in our moving away from the Wifey total reliance on vocals.
