Steven: This is Bode and my third project together.
For this music, Bode sent me a long single stem of music labelled โdark ambientโ. I then worked and played with this stem, initially separating it into two sections, so that they formed a foundation for the music that I then added to them. I had in my head this idea of blended materials that together created something new and perhaps strong.
โgreyfieldโ is a gentle place. a little cinematic, a bit dark, sometimes gritty, textured and smeary, and hopeful.
Iโm grateful to Bode for his generosity and encouragement.
Bode: "After listening to our third album together I can only say one thing: how much I love Steven Leak and his music! This man's natural talent for composing Ambient Music with his unusual instruments and objects and his patience to work in partnership with me and my
algorithmic paraphernalia are two things I admire about him a lot. May there be many more projects of his with me in the future, because I'm addicted to it.โ

steven: my music was created using Arturia Minifreak and Microfreak synthesizers. i ran many of the signals from these two synths through Red Panda Tensor and Particle pedals, a TC Infinite pedal, a Zoom multiplex pedal. all of this was at some time or another, live-room
recorded onto a Zoom H4N.
Composed and Produced by Steven Leak(Canada) and Bode(Brazil)
Mixed and mastered in Denmark by Erik Emil Eskildsen
Cover Art by Steven Leak
