maybe you don't see it.
what presence have you felt
in this life?
imagining, but i know the dreams
are shared.

it's important to
understand that maybe
without all those chances
that have been given
we would have fallen by now.

yet still remain safe and sound.

blinded by one side

everlasting, holding on

the eyes are opening.

so rare and unknowing,
believing in such a cause.
can you remain so lost forever?

to be kind and then find
afterwards, we change.
searching in our souls,
then drifting on and on.

and so much time has passed that we forget who we are.
never speaking of compassion yet abandoning the scars.
do you remember when the thoughts were all in line?
maybe in this reality it will eventually entwine.

reaching out,
giving in,
even if it's all a lie.
the most important thing
is that i tried.
