ABOUT THIS RELEASE
Miles Bonny has been making beats for over 20 years. He has had his collaborated with many vocalists, was featured in SCRATCH magazine and won a Scion award for his beats (judged by DJ Premier) far before he started singing.
After being the producer for a group whose vocalist left, he still wanted to find and outlet for his songs, so he began singing over beats as a vocalist.
Later Miles collaborated with beatmakers around the world as a singer (Joc Max, Kenny Dope, Osunlade, Suff Daddy, Brenk Sinatra +)
Here, on this all instrumental release of beats, he shows us that his love of beat composition has never left his side.
A triple scorpio, he has an intensity that you can hear. The sounds often move forward with an intensity akin to his daily focus on whatever is next in life.
These beats were largely made during COVID19 hibernation, in his studios in New Mexico USA. Don't worry, Miles is still singing. He will release his new single "What about our love" soon after this.
