When life is unforgiving,
And your world seems torn apart.
Just remember at the end of each day,
That tomorrow is itself another start.

So don’t look for consolation,
In the memories of the past.
Just think of all the things that you have,
Cos what has gone was never meant to last.

But there are times we don’t need to love another,
That’s the time when we really need a friend.
And I believe for all of us there’s an angel within,
Who carries us through, and never gives in.

Everyone will have a story,
About the pain of letting go.
But remember that to love and be loved,
Is the greatest feeling you will ever know.

So move on, you’ve got nothing to hide,
It’s all we need to keep us alive.
Just hold on, it’s a hell of a ride,
But it’s all we need to do to survive.

You will know the way to your salvation,
When you see just how good this life can be.
Cos I believe for all of us there’s an angel within,
Who carries us through, and never gives in.

So wherever life may take you,
To yourself be always true.
And if fortune changes everything else,
Never let it change the person who is you.
