Lost Postcard by Entire Population Ensemble

Questo progetto nasce dalla mia idea di utilizzare un mezzo potente come la musica come mezzo di frattura delle distanze fisiche e geografiche.
Con questa opera, che spero abbia un seguito, ho inteso rompere quelle barriere che dividono normalmente gli artisti che piano si limitano nel genere del proprio continente, anche se non era questo il caso.
Ho coinvolto in questa mia idea tre musicisti con cui non sono alla prima collaborazione musicale, ma differentemente dal solito, ho coinvolto contemporaneamente tutti e tre nello stesso brano. Sommando e unendo le loro differenti tracce in un unico brano che, data la sua varietà artistica e culturale, rimanda alla foggia "arlecchinesca" del teatro di Carmelo Bene.
Il primo musicista a contribuire, che sarei io, ha il limite di non sapere cosa suoneranno gli altri musicisti e l'ultimo musicista, ha il limite di saperlo.
Il tutto si svolge come una mano di poker al buio in cui i giocatori tentano di intuire la giocata altrui.
Ne viene fuori una sorta di Cadaver Exquisito, gioco che divertiva tanto i surrealisti, intenti a formare delle poesie da un incipit di un altro scrittore surrealista.
Questo esperimento sonoro mi è servito a sbrandellare il vecchio concetto melodico e armonico come in una macchina "distruggi documenti" per lasciare spazio alla pura espressione dei musicisti.

This project stems from my idea of ​​using a powerful medium such as music as a means of breaking physical and geographical distances.
With this work, which I hope will have a following, I intended to break down those barriers that normally divide artists who slowly limit themselves to the genre of their own continent, even if this was not the case.
I involved in my idea three musicians with whom I am not in the first musical collaboration, but differently from the usual, I involved all three at the same time in the same song. Adding and combining their different tracks in a single piece which, given its artistic and cultural variety, refers to the "harlequin" style of Carmelo Bene's theater.
The first musician to contribute, which would be me, has the limit of not knowing what the other musicians will play and the last musician, here , has the limit of knowing.
All this takes place like a hand of poker in the dark in which the players try to guess the play of others.
The result is a sort of Cadaver Exquiso, a game that amused the surrealists so much, intent on forming poems from the opening words of another surrealist writer.
This sound experiment helped me to shatter the old melodic and harmonic concept as in a "paper shredder" machine to leave room for the pure expression of the musicians.
