Digital re-release of the classic debut album of Melrose Quartet, first released 19 Aug 2013.

The debut release of Sheffield's beloved folk harmony and instrumental band Melrose Quartet saw a flurry of interest on the UK folk scene, and saw them nominated at the 2014 BBC Folk Awards for Best Group.

Every track on this album still appears in their live set from time to time, with particularly highly requested songs being Santa Georgia, Wedding Bells, Come and I Will Sing You, Tom Tolley's, and the sweeping beauty of the title track "Fifty Verses". Many of the tracks have also become staples of the band's now-legendary ceilidh set.
