Ohio by Mega-Fluff

I drove north through the mountains
in the middle of the night.
The road was so dark
that I thought I could die.
I came around the bend,
saw the city alight.
I drove straight to the party.
Everything was alright.

I drove around without a clue
with a paper atlas.
Away from the water
towards the hills and the reckless.
The last thing that I said
was that I'd never go back.
Now it's 10 years later
and I'm trying to forget I said that...

Whatever I write about Ohio
is probably going to make me cry
because for all the time that I spent there,
I barely made it out alive.
