Ambient soundscapes created by synthesizers! Sub Human Bros. is a techno band unit of brothers from Nagasaki, Kyushu, Japan, who have been active in Berlin, Germany. "schön" is the first album by member Yutaka Sakamoto, who returned to Japan in 2019 and has been producing works under his own name since the following year. The title, which means beautiful in German, expresses ambient music with synthesizers. The album presents a pseudo-nature soundscape using only synthesizers, S.V.N.S. (Synthetic Virtual Nature Soundscape), and presents a dialogue with sound by encouraging changes in the consciousness of people who stimulate their hearing. Ambient textures cultivated through installation live performances using modular synthesizers.
