Born in the 80s of the last century in Madrid by the Mares brothers, Mascarada was aimed to make music inspired by the progressive rock of the 70s.
Originally a quintet, now only the Mares brothers remain: Juan at keys, wind, sequences and percussion, and Daniel at the bass, guitars, drums and vocals. They recorded their first album, Urban Names, in 1998. Now Mascarada is back with Jade.
