"MDFC" (Music for a Democratic Future in Congo) is the fifth solo album by Martial Pa'nucci, a political rapper and African writer from Congo-Brazzaville, member and co-founder of the Ras-Le-Bol citizen movement. In this 12-track album, rich in melodies and themes, the artist promotes democratic values while attacking bad governance and advocating respect for human rights and the advent of the rule of law in Congo and other African countries. Martial Pa'nucci insists on the sanctity of freedom of expression, which should not be the prerogative of authoritarian regimes, while denouncing the facets of dictatorship and kleptocracy that undermine his country...
