Detox:

and then everything
started disappearing
then we found ourselves
in a strange mix
of peace and fear
at home

then we started changing
some for the better
even though we felt
so alone

maybe all we needed
was to literally be
thrown in a box

some of what we lost
only goes to prove how shallow
we really are

then in summer
everything slowly
opened back up

we were coming out of our caves
wondering what (the fuck) day it was

even though everybody went broke
we welcomed the pause
