Rotlicht by The Second Sense
The Second Sense is back! We kicked off our year with a release of this German duo, now they return to Cinematique for another top notch EP.
Philippe and Marco have had quite a productive year so far. After their ‘Famous’ EP on Cinematique they also appeared on Straight Ahead Music, Fukai Music and Inlab Recordings. As we do love their energetic, melodic driven sound we are more than pleased that they are back for a second release on our label.
As no other, they know how to combine emotive sounds with touches of acid. It can be heard in the beautiful opener ‘Tales’ but also in the more peak time oriented title track ‘Rotlicht’. Things get more trippy in the excellent track ‘Reveal’ where they get a bit of help from Sarcasmo, who did some great work on labels like KDB and Steyoyoke as well.
