Happenstance EP by Dustin Nantais
Dustin Nantais returns on Manual Music for his first full length EP after having teamed up with Paul Hazendonk resulting in the release of 'Underside' on the recent 'Summer Movement 2014' V/A EP.
The Toronto based DJ and producer has been turning heads in the most recent months with one quality release after another on respectable labels such as Particles, Crossfade Sounds and MNL but 'Happenstance' might just be his biggest to date!
The title track is build a around a chunky percussive groove and solidly moves towards the mystical breakdown where a very effective and head haunting melody gets introduced after which Dustin cleverly adds more layers of strings and melodies to make this a real stunning piece of work!
'Foretold' is a somewhat more classic progressive house track, arpeggiator galore! As effective as always during those early morning sets, this is one for the heads, one that will take you on a journey through fluffy clouds to far away mysterious places, nice and trippy..
To make a long story short; a very strong debut EP by the rising star from Canada!
