Silent Tears from Sonic Anatomy by Manja Ristić

Meditative ambient is permeated with micro tonal textures that are generated from manipulated field recordings and particular site-specific lithophonic improvisation. Calm atmosphere and minimal tonal changes suggests relaxation and passivity, while at the same time opens the space for subtle emotional discharge.
Ambient depicts the state of deep sleep in which inner dynamics occur.
Locations of the field recordings:
Pržina beach, Lumbarda village, far East-side of the Korčula island in South Adriatic;
Abandoned quarry, Vrnik Island, small island in the Korčula's archipelago famous for its marble and stone masons.
