Arbo Miksajo by Coppice Halifax
While Oxynucid appears on RIPETIS 7 / ALKEMIISTO III in a metallic techno form, the provenance of that mix is a much larger beast, recorded under the header of his Yorkshire Modular Society project. This mammoth hour-long session is a vivid trip through the subsurface caverns of Deep Earth, refracted and fed back through a modular synthesizer array from across the sea. Many remixes are created by producers who cut and paste, reconstitute and rephrase - Yorkshire Modular Society is an ethos of creation by way of listening. It is truly formless, without beginning or end, like a great ashen tree beneath the Earth's crust, whose roots penetrate the skies.
