Nile Crocodile by Moganjah
It is a long EP consisting in some of the best works of Emiliano Motta akka Moganjah between 2017 to 2024 in Uganda, Denmark, Mexico and the Netherlands.
It includes many featuring artists from different regions of Uganda and Congo (DRC) and it consists in blending the future, the past and the present through the music.
Motta mixes deep grooves of Baganda percussion, elegant and uplifting “high life” guitar riffs from Kinshasa, crazy deep sounds from the Iganga Xylophone tribe “Nakibembe” and other surprises with heavy synthesizer based percussions, analogue and modular squeaks and sequences, garnishing all the tribal and root sounds with futuristic elements, creating a very special and unique sound, rich in different tempos, instrumentation and styles.
