Love's Birthday by Mafalda Minnozzi

The song ‘Love’s Birthday’ was written by Gene Pritsker (Sound Liberation, Joe Zawinul, Orchestrator for The Matrix Resurrections), on Valentine's Day some years ago. Recently Gene had the pleasure of working with the brilliant duo of vocalist Mafalda Minnozzi and guitarist Paul Ricci, he asked them if they might be interested in recording this song, being that the song has influences of Brazilian music, which is the duo's specialty. The liked the song and this is the result. The stimulating and provocative melody and Mafalda's virtuoso voice along with NY session guitarist Paul Ricci's solo set this song apart from a traditional love song.
