Australian Techno producer Enclave’s latest release and first on MACHINE “Grindland”continues with his unique driving cybernetic and cerebral form of techno across 4 diverse original tracks on offer here.
The title track Grindland is arguably the most widescreen deep and futuristic of the tracks on offer here,with a pulsing bassline underpinning filtered organ synths,custom syntheseis percussions and atmospherics and sci fi infused vocoded scats.
Alarms takes a fatter glitchier industrial tone with some spacey reverbed pads and off kilter percussives.
Rotation is the most Dj/toolesque of the tracks here with some sharp short reverbed stabs and some cybernetic pads underpinning a slow building griity synth line all climaxing in a big delayed snare washed climax.
Final track The Collapse showcases a booming organic bottom end,driving layered bass and filtered hornesque pads,progressive piano stabs and a booming resonating snare line.,while all the while displaying some slightly off kilter rhythms that demand the listeners attention.
