A toast to the coming storm with it’s rising tides tearing through the Melbourne underbelly. This new team up brings together established Machine Label artist Lateral (Backroom Reality) with newcomer D REX. It’s a duo that deliver on their first outing, which is more than a casual stroll around the block. Hang onto your hats for the title track courtesy of D REX, a bold modulating, tonal sweepscape. This is flanked with the thrumming rolling bass laced remix courtesy of Lateral.
Then with Cyclo, a switch out of straight 4/4 into Percussive stabs, jutting hats and compelling breaks. Taste. And the closer Luminescence: Drills through the shale on a search through the techno night.
