Invertibro by DoubleDash

Originally released September 4, 2020 through Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble, DoubleDash finally has the rights to release their own EP, "Invertibro", recorded on July 12th, 2020 at The 1905 in Portland, OR.

The title track, "Invertibro", is the product of a workshop hosted by DoubleDash that aired on September 4th, 2020 for PJCE's then-new web series.

We came to the recording session with a few rough ideas for a piece independently, then improvised for 10 minutes, de-constructed and developed our ideas, and then came back together to record "Invertibro".

Everything heard in this recording was played live by Dario LaPoma and Machado Mijiga, and any production elements present only reflect the mix/master of the track.

The EP also features a re-imagination of LaPoma's composition, "Home", recorded as a warm-up for the workshop.
