Tending endless hells of my creation

Fallen prey to a viscous haze
It chills me and saps my will
My limbs are heavy, my active gaze turns in and is still

I live in the past in a rotten forest of dreams
It’s stagnant and toxic
but there’s nowhere else
that I can imagine is less of a prison

The undergrowth moves in sickening waves
Everything’s heaving - heavy and dull with disease

I will remain, building my catacombs, lost in my pain - boundless malaise

Digging deep into the wound, exploring the pain
It’s making me sick.  It’s making me sane.  It’s making me sane

No truth lights this forest. It’s cloaked in blindness.  It’s choked with darkness
Fetid pools, tortured ghouls, hungry ghosts, bellies of poison gas
Eating the shit of the past

Stay where I can see you

I brought you here
To endlessly relive
Your sins against me
We will be immortal
