Rain from Harp Dreaming by Lissa-Käthe

A 90’s Fender twin guitar amp that had been sitting in my dusty shed for a decade, made my harp sound luscious, despite its buzzing. It hadn’t rained in at least 6 months so this day was precious when it finally came down. I played an improvisation on my harp using the boss RC300 loop station and recorded it live from the amp directly, I forgave its buzz and so this piece has no other effects or editing whatsoever. I love the raw organic depth of this, and so it belonged on this album equally. Something to enjoy during those luscious rainy days.

I am Lissa-Kathe (pronounced Lissa Kate). I am a harpist, pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter. As well as my original works, I love arranging traditional music and composing music to poetry. I also play a myriad of instruments for my creations, including guitar, recorder, bodhrán, bells, percussion, accordions, synth, all vocals, and more. I am also a creative music teacher.
