Wonderthrill by Lewis Wilson
Wonderthrill is the 8th album from Scottish songwriter Lewis Wilson. The album was recorded in 2018, but due to finishing other projects the album will now see the light of day in 2021. January 2020 seen the start of mixing another album, working title "Secret Science" which got shelved mid lockdown. At this point it was time to revisit the "Wonderthrill" project which was mixed during the summer of 2020 which then lead to the album getting Mastered at one of Scotland's top recording facility's Castlesound.
There was around 30 songs demoed for the album, then with Stuart Kidd we whittled the songs down to 10 to work on for the record. With another two "The Point Of Caring" and "Find That Place" rescued from the shelved "Secret Science" Sessions. With "Restful Waters" and "Freedom in Mind" written and recorded in 2020 were then added to finish the album.
