It was a bad ending from the start
I’m a walking wounded with a broken heart
So I made my way to the nearest bar
To seal my wound before it left a scar
I bought me a bottle, grabbed me a seat
I began to pour, drink and repeat

Last night I was whiskey high, today it shows
I don’t know when I’ve felt so low
But it sure felt good going down

Felt just like we were in love
When you said “baby this is the end”
I made that bottle my new best friend
I betcha it was a helluva sight
To me see make love to the whiskey last night
