At the time, the studio was in our bedroom.
All of it
Tape machine, console, etc

We were feeding on large amounts of classic recordings
Django, Bollywood, Eno, Cougat, Rubinstein, Hawaiian All-Stars, Thai Lime etc

We were inspired to be part of the RPM challenge,
Write and record a record in February.
Blame it on St.Johns

We did it for a higher power,
Of course we were both still working full time etc

We chose a limited palette
Tape Loops - Marimba - Celeste
Moon Dog - John Berger - Garfunkel
Everly's - Lætitia

A photography manual is the inspiration for the text
We let the songs happen
When we finished we drove through the desert...
