An album about relearning to make music, and to recover from a lot of my Trauma in a productive way instead of just staring at walls all day like i want to. This is sort of a spiritual successor to my album "Anthropophobia". I wanted my albums up until this point to come full circle now that i made what i consider to be my best album ever, Rainbow. Because it feels like everything in my life eventually comes full circle and loops back to the beginning my music should too. I feel like i need a fresh start, just put everything out there and go for something entirely different next time. Which is why this album exists.
All of the tracks in this were recorded in the last couple of months. a few are B sides from my last album. The ominous, ever permeating dread this album expressed to me though stuck out to me as wanting to make this an Album instead of an EP. It feels like a document of my current mental state the best i can properly express it. It's almost ominous. Somehow this was the hardest album for me to make solely because i had to basically relearn how to make music with a broken brain alongside a ton of hardware limitations.
its Called Creepypasta because it feels like my life has become a real life Creepypasta at this point. Its too surreal for me to put into words. so heres some music about it ig

Sleeping In - production, mixing
Melissa Thyme Monroe - mastering, cover art, liner notes
Sleeping In is an East coast independant industrial electronic music project, with a heavy fixation on lo fi production values, a "fuck you" attitude, and a heavy emphasis on texture and atmosphere. There is also a topical fixation on life cycles and the relationship between nature and technology.
