To my brother, Christopher William Rotz. I miss the every second Adam Sandler impressions. I miss coming home to you trying to force me to watch "Through The Wormhole" with Morgan Freeman. I miss watching Titanic and Braveheart with you time and time again. I can't evern watch those movies anymore without sobbing like a baby. I miss your personalityand your goffiness and your ability to make me smile even when it was the last thing I wanted to do. This is for you, all of it. You suffered and struggled every second of your life, yet you were still strong enough to live and love and laugh every day. You put a smile on every face that you met and you touched so many lives, I just wish you were here to see how much you touched mine. I hope I express that well through my songs because this is all for you. I loved you then, I love you now, and I'll always love you.
My brother was an amazing human being and it was and is every second tragic that we lost him so soon. He was kind and gentle and loving. But he was also a drug addict. His addiction had such control over him that he wasn't even my brother anymore, I didn't recognize him, I didn't know him, I wouldn't even look at him for a long time. I regret my actions every day because it took me a while to realize that his addiction possesed him so greatly, that he wasn't the one making his decisions.
It made my childhood very hard and that is selfish of me to even say because what he went through every second was even worse. It was pure torture. But despite that, he got better for a while and right before he died and the drugs consumed him, I got to know my brother again for a time. For the last time. I charish that time every single second of my life and through my brother, I am becoming who I was meant to be. Every day gets harder without him and I panic at the thought of going somewhere or moving somewhere that he has never been. To leave the house that we grew up in together scares me more than anything. Its like letting go, which is something I'll never do.
My brother will always be with me and influence everything that I do. I write this music not only to convey my thoughts and feelings but to hopefully influence others thoughts and feelings as well. Let anyone relate to me, use my words to relate to something else in their lives, or by all means, let anyone choose to not do drugs or stop doing drugs. Drugs are the worst thing that can ever happen to somene. Their influence on someone and the people around them will never go away.

To my Grandfather, Michal (Popop) Thieryung. These songs are also for you. Your bright personality and good attitude about everything alwys influenced me and put a smile on my face. You did nothing but care for everyone all of the time. I often miss you quirks and DIY inventions around the house. I miss you setting my place at the table with just a plate a shrimp fork. I miss our drawer full of messy grocery bags that you would neatly fold and stack every time you came over. And I especially miss not being the only person in the room who was constantly freezing. I love you so very much and I will always love you. You are in my heart forever.
