Langkamer’s fourth album ‘No’ is a vision unclouded. Recorded in the hills of Southern Spain at Zarzalico with veteran producer Remko Schouten, it's the product of a pace of life too frenetic to count, too irregular to measure. If their back catalogue has often veered between heart-on-sleeve slacker rock to folk balladry, ‘No’ captures this life of contradictions, kicks and struggle. It moves without a care between heavy proto-punk and nervy alt-country, as the band give their desperation and defiance a new urgency, a motion against the constantly beating sun.
