"Oh my god, it's been so long"
He said as his head filled with sadness
"It feels so odd, like I don't belong"
He's now devolving to madness
He gets out of bed and goes through his head
He puts one hand on the door
He takes a deep breathe and lifts up his hand
Thinking he's much safer on the floor

He shut the door to the basement
But not before the snake could get in
One step forward and three steps back
He thinks, "here we go again"
"He's talking to himself", he said to himself
As he looked straight back at the mirror
"To be someone else", he wished to himself
"So my head can be so much clearer"
