Kveda is a musical band inspired by old saga’s of the Viking age. We use a range of historic and modern instruments to create music. Some examples of the instruments we use are guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, tagelharpa, nyckelharpa, Lyre, merlin and a variety of percussion instruments. The Lyrics are based on manuscripts and poems like the Poetic Edda, prose Edda, Íslendingasögur and Darraðarljoð.
