Lyrics

Ursus Maritimus is the Latin for Polar bear, often the symbol of global warming. Sadly emblematic of the climate change, as their distress is visible by many inhabitants in the Arctic.

In this track, recordings of polar bears are used as material to create a melancholic melody and hypnotic atmosphere, emphasized by a slow bass and contrasted by erratic rhythmic elements, creating altogether a dramatic portrait. I am hoping this can raise awareness and inspire people to take action to help polar bears adapt to the new conditions.
