கொண்டாட்டம் (Kondāttam) - celebration. Although short and sweet, Krithi's new EP aims to bring listeners a sense of celebration, satisfaction and happiness in a time of turmoil, confusion and devastation. The tracks are an ode to the thavil—a South Indian percussion instrument associated with festivals, ceremonies and other celebrations. This project is an experiment combining this celebratory instrument (and others) with dance music and hip hop.
