The Buddleja frames the ground
The birds sing their daily rounds
And the arches remind me of Berlin
The cycle paths remind that - coming back is going there again

The cracks in the tarmac
Seep history as far back
As the old winds that continue to blow
And the skies show me how far I come
and how far I’ve got to go

...And just like Pomona
We built something strong out of love
But the cracks keep on growing
And nature keeps showing - that we had to come here just to know

Greys and the purples
