When I was a kid I came home one day and someone had ripped the book of revelations out of a small bible and tossed it onto my front step. I took it inside and read it carefully. Well, well, thought I, there is a world beyond the veil.

Then I learned that large animals communicate across miles through low rumbles.
Apocalypse means to reveal- hence 'revelations" and many many people have claimed these visions for their own, I claim them for us now.

The first half of part 4 "A Great Star" is a musical representation of having Long Covid before it had a name. Just feeling the body waste away for no reason, slipping in and out of psychosis, nightmares, a waking nightmare, the brain inflamed, and then an hour in the evening where it goes away. And , of course, the saw whet owl in the yard...
I owe this piece to brain damage.
It is a piece about sacred vulnerability.
