minimal looped piano - yes this one really is as simple as it sounds - you can end up with something like this after a year of clever struggle or seven minutes of offhand carefreeness - one day I'll devote a year to a single piece of music, but this year I've only ever got seven minutes to spare - if it's important to you that your musician suffers for her art then this isn't the place for you - me I can't believe how piss easy everything is - music is the piss-easiest thing anyone can ever do - whenever you get a day when Charlie Watts or any of the others die I just applaud how they never got rumbled - there is more beauty and skill in that moment this morning when I took the foot off the clutch and rose uphill into the day's first sunshine than there can ever be in anything arty anyone anytime anywhere ever does.

But this is still the second most beautiful thing I've done all day. I like it. I shall wake at my normal stupid time in the middle of tonight and put this on repeat and I will then quickly fall asleep. Hearing this music won't send me to sleep - quite the opposite - I shall've woken up in order to hear this music
