Juke Joint Smokers is a musical duo from Berlin that delivers raw and down to the bone
honest traditional blues that catapults the listener right to the swamps of the deep
Mississippi.
Influenced by the blues style of Sonny Terry, Johnny Woods and Billy Bizor, Adam Sikora
masterfully captures the room with his extraordinary harmonica playing backed up by multiintrumentalist Luis "Gigi" de Cicco from Benevento, who, like Adam, found his own blues
groove by delving deep into the styles of Mississippi Fred McDowell, RL Burnside and other
Hill Country masters. Together they play a raw and rusty hill-country blues which draws
inspiration from the streets of Berlin.
