fall asleep when the moon comes up
you're crying like a new born baby
i know your daddy don't like me
but you never listen to him anyway
and i think about your lips a lot
and i think about your words
sometimes you speak like a poet
sometimes you speak just to be heard

and flowers don't know
if they're people or plants
they just grow and then die
does that sound familiar to your plans
and i'm always wondering
if you're thinking about dying
i miss pushing back your red hair
i hate how you alway lies about things i wish you didn't lie about

you talk an awful lot about god
but i can tell that you're not friends
it hurts that you up and left
after working your way into all of my plans
