shadows stretching far ahead, there ain't a sign of life
The emptiness
It fills my heart with hope
I'm headed nowhere

and foggy neon blinking beacons lead me to my family

I'll miss this place
but it won't miss me

locked the door two weeks ago
gave the key back to the man
some memories and the smell of bleach are all that I have left
in a place I loved
where I bled into the soil
