J.P. Upper is the musical monicker of Jake Preston. Jake began manifesting his sonic visions in Auckland, New Zealand, and has since bounced between NZ, Utah, and Australia, where he currently resides in Tugun. Jake takes influence from the psych of the 60s, soul of the 70s, bangers of the 80s, despair of the 90s, and the technological advancements of the modern age.
