Feel the heat, old as time.
It’s yours and mine.
We can be so far apart.
I hear your heart.
The smallest wave crosses the sea
to eternity.

Light never dies,
the first stars in the sky
still humming around your head-
infrared.

Out in the fields, flowers grow.
Are we alone?
An icy eye knows the night
from the end of time.
If you see my honeycomb,
welcome home.
