I wimped out walking in the washed out light
Bright denim burning my eyes out
Navy blue pouring soda on the ground
Done fizzing had to find somewhere to rest now

Poured the overfull moon into my cup
Another habit fired up
Car motors outside running their mouths
Little shadow on the clouds

Faded out phoning in my performance
Showbiz night certain to notice
Opera glasses focused from the far out seats
Clapping just to spite me

Unknown curtains in a westerly room
Plants will not be fed
They will tell me that they need something
Let me know when they’re dead

I want to be the giver of life someday
Spread spring through the bends in the creek
For now I oscillate harmfully
Better off skipping the peaks
