Higher Dimensions by John Skywalker
This album is the sequel to a 3-part series called "Dimensions" in which certain songs were segmented into "dimensions" (parts). John Skywalker is noteworthy for his witty wordplay, metaphors, lyrical concepts and penetrating insights on subjects such as philosophy and spirituality. A true student of Hip Hop, psychology and and consciousness-raising lyricism, Skywalker maintains themes from the first installment in this sequel with topics on Black masculinity, Womanism, social support systems, and mental health. John's perspective continues to evolve with study and experience, providing evidence that artist development is still a pivotal pillar in Hip Hop culture.
