Cosmia from Ys by Joanna Newsom
Joanna unearthed from the granite lode of Northern California in the early aughts. She commenced releasing music in 2003 – a deceptively, elaborately singular mix of voice, harp and piano. Joanna has since been all round this world, on concert tours and television and film productions. Her epic conceptions have filled four insatiably acclaimed albums on Drag City.
