JANUS by MAJA S.K. RATKJE - JOACHIM MONTESSUIS

Recorded, composed, mixed between Paris / Oslo, the Janus LP is a collaboration started in 2008 and finished in 2013. Experimental mouth music duet, free interlaced vocal noises, sonic poetry and free electronics. A convergent formal meeting of two complementary paths between poetry and music.

Joachim Montessuis develops an experimental contextual practice mainly around voice, drone, noise and resonance since the early 90's. His vocal and readings performative work explores various states of trance. He designs his actions as processes, "noise poetry-codes reality fertilizers".
