There’s a certain space where electronic and acoustic sounds meet. Where pianos drift through glowing synth textures, and rhythms pulse like a quiet heartbeat. That space has always been an inspiration, a place where emotion is felt in the smallest details, in the resonance of a note or the breath between chords.
Signals moves in waves. Wandering synth arpeggios and acoustic piano intertwine together with a pulsing rhythm, tracing a quiet path through shifting textures. A lone 303 break opens up the space, like a signal breaking through the haze, before dissolving back into the atmosphere. Subtle, reflective, always in motion.
It started with the piano. Soft, repeating phrases that seemed to breathe on their own. As the rhythm emerged, the melodies stretched and shifted, finding their place in the pulse. Layer by layer, the track took shape, each sound leaning into the next, blurring the line between movement and stillness.
Signals has been gently mastered, embracing a softer touch while maintaining a dynamic mix. It may be a bit quieter than my previous releases—but that’s what the volume knob on your amplifier is for!
