Regarding Spirits by Jim LoPresti

This album is a balance of stand alone handpan arrangements as well as those mixed with electronics. The guests performing on this added an element above and beyond my expectations and I am humbled and grateful for their talent and friendship.
The album reflects my personal experiences with the forever burning existential outlook on life and death.
It is dedicated to Andrew, my Father.

Jim was born in Bridgeport, CT and began creating music at the age of 8 with his accordion. Years of playing multiple instruments his true love landed on percussion. Though he has played in several bands of different genres including heavy metal and punk rock, Jim has released this reflective and meditative collection of experiences expressed primarily through handpans and steel tongue drums.
