JETT releases their third EP titled FOCUSED, a bass-driven, melodic body of work accompanied by some of D.C.’s most influential artists; Juana of Noxeema Jackson, Djoser of 3024, and STUKES & Blvksite of BLACK TECHNO MATTERS. FOCUSED provides a cinematic experience, representing the strength of collaboration within community building, and stresses the importance of supporting independent music. Each musical work provides their own perspective, offering an unexpected, wide range of inclusivity. Artwork is created and hand-drawn by STUKES, inspired by mental strength and ambition.

I wrote FOCUSED and - still searching - with a DAW and basic midi keyboard. Both tracks, (including the guitar in - still searching) were created inside the box with myself on the keys. I wanted to create something dynamic, cinematic, and full of body. I am so grateful to work with Juana, Blvksite, STUKES, and Djoser. These artists are so talented and this project shows what DC has to offer.

Each remix will be premiered until the final release date...stay tuned.
