Taking care of the world
in my mind
for God and time
and you can't see
what I see
and that's alright with me
I guess

Taking care of these hearts
I see need help
and who am I to
give you anything
but time's like a wheel
and I feel things a
different way now

Cause you're on my back
huddling close
and you're taking up space
like a Holy Ghost
and I'm not ready to leave
though I told you I would

all this good
for invisible lights
that I see in my mind

why I even see them at all

cause I'm so dang small
I'm so incredibly small

So how could you use me at all
I don't have much to even use here
Can I say the right things?
Can I do the right things?
All I know is I'm not even
close to the answers

and you are using everyone and I'm okay with this
place in your heart

And all the ways you taught me to be what I am
and all the ways I can't help but be what I am
and all the ways I am not getting any clearer
and all the ways I'm not getting any younger or smarter or wiser or better at doing your will
or younger or smarter or wiser or
better at doing the things you need
in all your seeds
to help this need
to soothe these hearts
and I'm just a little molecule
sitting outside by a tree
going deep in my mind
trying to find all these words
that could make you feel better
that could make you feel different
than what you feel right now.
